First Appointment :)

Nick and I headed to the doctor yesterday. I got measured and told I haven't gained much weight. After talking with the doctor for awhile she asked if we wanted to hear the heartbeat. She went on to say that sometimes it is hard to find at this time and that we may need to wait. As soon as she touched my skin there was a heart beat. She said it was right around 170. I have already heard it is a boy and I have heard it is a girl...but who knows at this point. She said I am around 10 1/2 weeks and I am due on May 15, 2009. After the doctor we heard to get labs done. After being poked 3 times the blood was drawn and I am bruised:) That is about all for now.

Friday night we had practice but as you can tell we do a lot more goofing around then work!

I know this picture is blurry, but this is how the season ended. The car was junk from hitting the wall and this is Nick in the middle of turns 1 & 2 correcting it however he went flying off the backstretch. We did have an amazing year though and it was interesting pulling out all the weeds:)

Update

I know it has been awhile since I last posted however not much has been going on. Nick continues to be sick and it wont go away. He has been put on different medications but still holds onto a head cold. His mouth is feeling better however I don't think he will ever eat potato chips again since that is when it all started.

This past weekend I drove down to Spring Arbor for homecoming/alumni game. Of course I didn't play but it was great to see everyone.
